Easter brought excellent weather and holidays – together, for a change – a Burnley and Pendle run though, this time, on a weekday but a lot of members elsewhere.
After last month’s trip to Appletreewick, the Burnley and Pendle kicked off March with a visit to The Twice Brewed Inn near Hexham and overlooking Hadrian’s Wall kindly organised by Barbara.
On Sunday the eighth, Frank and Lauraine thought that they had organised a Sunday run to the Craven Arms at Appletreewick. But, “organised” is not a word recognised in the lexicon of the Burnley and Pendle MGOC membership …
Christmas comes but once a year – and, even then, to the disappointment of Grinches – bringing with it the Burnley and Pendle MGOC Christmas Dinner after the AGM and first Meeting of the New Year.
