It is with great sadness that the Burnley and Pendle MGOC has learned that one of our past members, Christine Burrows, has passed away after a short illness, and we extend our sincerest condolences to her husband Jim.
Bridge House Farm, Wray Classic Car Show
With so many people either away or otherwise engaged this month arranging a Run prove difficult, but Richard suggested the excellent Classic Car Meeting at Wray and Barbara tells us about our visit there.
Trip to Saltaire
April brought the first of our new format of three monthly daytime meetings at the Old Stone Trough, followed by lunch. The hotel was its usual hospitable self and we were fortunate in having the use of a private room, both for the meeting and the meal, which were well attended and very successful.
Tenpin Bowling
The second Burnley and Pendle MGOC outing was on a weekday – the 12th of February – when a hardy crew visited the bowling alley at the Flower Bowl near Barton Grange.
