Well, although the forecast for Sunday, September 3rd said rain, at least-when we met up at the Old Stone Trough for our regular Sunday Run – it was a cloudy but fine morning.
The classic MGB replaced a 1971 Midget just 7 years ago and has been out and about on our Sunday club runs, as well as clocking up the miles,

Our last Pendle run in June 2019 seems light years away and with Co-vid seeming less of a threat we planned the June 2022 run with enthusiasm but some concerns that proved totally unfounded.
Due to illness and holidays our Sunday run squad was a bit depleted. Never mind, on a lovely sunny morning we left the Old Stone Trough for our visit to The Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield.
Eleven members met on a dry, but chilly Sunday morning for a scenic journey into the White Rose County.
Often it is the journey not the destination for MG devotees but this Sunday run proved an exception. After a sociable breakfast at Hamish’s, a well-run café on the Blacko/Gisburn road thirteen of us in seven cars gathered for the monthly Sunday run.
