Burnley And Pendle MG Owners Club Latest News

“In September, Roger and Olive took the Burnley and Pendle MGOC to Bolton Castle at Castle Bolton, a longer than usual run and more unusually — because of different members’ commitments — in the mid week. We welcomed our new member Matthew and our visitors Kate and Mark.

The weather was not looking too promising when nine cars left The Old Stone Trough.

Fingers were crossed, and our prayer mats out, in the hope that – after days of rain – the sun would make an appearance.  Indeed it did!  So, on a lovely sunny morning, we welcomed over 70 participants to the Old Stone Trough at Kelbrook for our Run.

Sunday, May 5th marked an astonishing event in the life of the Burnley and Pendle MGOC: our monthly run was led by an electric BMW …  Having made that pious confession, the rest of our crew were otherwise quite definitely fossil powered.

March’s Sunday run was initially slated as only a trip out for lunch but, for once, the met office told us that the rain gods had decided on a weekend away.
